The core of my teaching philosophy is the unity of research and teaching. I attach great importance to providing students with strong methodological training in addition to the actual teaching of subject-specific content from the international and current research literature. Furthermore, for me, willingness to communicate, accessibility, and commitment count towards high-quality university teaching. In order to create optimal learning opportunities for students with different backgrounds and learning styles, I always aim to promote active engagement with the respective learning content. Important didactic elements are activating methods such as group discussions, group projects and presentations.
